Legends of FC Sheriff. Part of the tenth. Alexander Erokhin. We rated his career at our club with a rating of 81.

The name of Alexander Erokhin is familiar to all football fans, but among those who are far from sports, only a few recognize it. And for good reason. After all, at the moment it is one of the best players in the RPL. He does not get into loud scandals, leads a quiet family life, plays the guitar in his spare time. People like him deserve special respect and attention.

Yerokhin was born in Barnaul. There he went to the football section. The talented boy was noticed by Alexey Smertin's father Gennady, who recommended that Lokomotiv Moscow take a closer look at the young talent. So at the age of 15, the "railwaymen" took Erokhin to their youth team.

Two years later, he moved to Moldova, where he started playing for our club. Very quickly, Erokhin became a player of the main team, as well as the top scorer.

With Sheriff, Alexander won the national championship twice and the Moldovan Cup as many times, as well as the second Commonwealth Cup in the club's history. But the moment of glory came when the club played in the selection for participation in the Champions League, where Yerokhin regularly scored.

In Moldova, he was a real hero. He was even offered to change his citizenship and play for the national team of Moldova, but Alexander refused.

After the brilliant results, interest in Erokhin increased from both Europe and Russia. Alexander decided to return to his homeland. He signed a contract with Krasnodar, for which he played from 2011 to 2013. Then there was a period in "SKA-Energy".

He was able to reveal his talent in the Yekaterinburg "Ural". From there, it was taken by Rostov. Under the leadership of Kurban Berdyev, Rostov residents sensationally won silver medals at the Russian Championship. Yerokhin was a key player in that team.

In the summer of 2017, Erokhin, along with several other Rostov players, moved to Zenit. If the transition to St. Petersburg was difficult for others, then Alexander almost immediately showed himself. He quickly won the love of fans. After all, Alexander scored his first goal for the blue-white-blue team against a principled opponent-Spartak Moscow. At Zenit, he also played poker for the first time in his career. It happened in the match with SKA-Khabarovsk.

For the first time in the Russian national team, he was called up by Leonid Slutsky in 2015. However, his debut on the field took place in 2016 in a match against Turkey. Then he was regularly invited to the national team. His performance earned him a place in the home World Cup.

Interestingly, before the World Cup, the famous Uruguayan singer and actress Natalia Oreiro even called Erokhin the sexiest football player in the Russian national team.

Yerokhin also entered the history of world football, without expecting it. At the World Cup in Russia for the first time allowed to make a fourth substitution in extra time. In the game of the 1/8 final of the World Cup against Spain, he took the field instead of Daler Kuzyaev. It was the first fourth substitution in the history of the World Championships.

After the world championship, Yerokhin continues to perform at a high level. Alexander continues to play for Zenit (Saint Petersburg, Russia). A boy's dream that has become a reality! At the expense of character and faith!
