Florent, tell us how and where did your career start?
- From my childhood in Burkina Faso, football was a passion for me , my father played football , after all, my career started at a young age, in the city of Ouagadougou, and when I grew up, I signed my first contract with Ouagadougou.
Tell me, how did you get into the Sheriff?
- Through an agent who saw me in the championship of Burkina Faso, and besides, I already had colleagues from Burkina Faso, with whom I played in the national team, who spoke well about me with coach Kuchuk.
Was it scary to go? After all, at that time the Internet was not yet so developed. Your parents must have been terrified. How did they react to this suggestion about your career in Transnistria?
- At that time, my parents were scared because we didn't know Moldova and left home for the first time outside of their country. After that, they realized that it was important for me, and that I would not be alone in Moldova.
How did you imagine the Moldovan championship? And what grade you gave it.
- The championship at that time had a very good level, I think I learned a lot, and I also gave the best of myself. This opened doors for me and was a plus, because every time I was called up to the national team, they took into account my consistency in club matches.
What was the atmosphere in the team at that time?
- We had a very good, strong team, with a lot of quality players, not to mention an impeccable coach, and I would like to welcome those with whom we were together at that time.
Please tell us about two unusual things you saw in Transnistria.
- First, the snow and cold, and second-the Russian language, which I learned to speak.
Do you keep in touch with any of the guys?
- Talking to Benjamin Balima and Anna. And club news via the Internet.
In 2009, the Commonwealth Cup and the European Cups. You broke the window to Europe. What were the emotions? First, to reach the group stage of the UEFA Europa League for the first time in history. Win the Commonwealth Cup for the second time in the club's history.
- Participation in the group stage of the Europa League will remain an unforgettable memory and achievement for us, the players, and for the club as a whole and for the city. This is a lifetime memory.
How do you assess your period at Sheriff?
- It was a wonderful period, and I take this opportunity to thank the managers, employees, players, coaches, workers, not to mention the 12th player (the club's fans), I say thank you to everyone.
After Sheriff, you continued your career at English club Charlton athletic. Tell me a little about your time in England.
- With not a bad memory, but experience, I signed my contract at Charlton, and I found out that there were 6 months left until the end of the championship, and that I needed to get a work permit. We sent the documents, but, unfortunately, we could not resolve this issue. But I keep only good memories, I saw the mentality that reigns in English football.
What are you doing now?
- For 5 years I have been playing in a small club of a good level in France, FC Saint-Petersburg. I'm with my family, everything is fine, we're happy, and I'm thinking about retiring.
Would you like to go back to the Sheriff?
- If the Sheriff offers me a place, but not as a player, but in the structure of the club, I will not refuse them. I'd like to go back, of course.
What do you want to wish your fans? Who live in Transnistria and Moldova
- I say thank you to them for everything they do for me, respect and remember, I wish them all the best in the future, health, love, happiness, strength to them and the Sheriff football club. Thank you again!
