Legends of FC Sheriff. Part five. Sergey Dadu is a Moldovan footballer, a striker. Ex-player of the national team of Moldova. He also has Russian citizenship. If Dadu were among the legends of our club #FIFA21, we would rate him with a rating of 82.

Four-time champion of Moldova, winner of the Moldovan Cup and the Commonwealth Champions Cup. In the 2002-03 season, he became the top scorer of the Moldovan championship.

In 1999, he started playing for Sheriff Tiraspol. In the summer of 2003, together with Christian Tudor, he moved on loan to Alania from Vladikavkaz. After that, he left the club twice, but returned to it.

In 2004, he moved to CSKA Moscow. However, having failed to break into the main squad, he returned to Alania again.

In 2006, he could be in the "Tomi" team, but the team could not declare him, and Dadu returned to the"Sheriff". A year later, after playing a good season, he accepted the offer of one of the best clubs in Denmark — Midtjuland, with whom he signed a contract for four and a half years. Dadu was named by the club's fans as one of the best players of the team of our time, but due to conflicts with the management in 2008, he left the club and again found himself in Alania. Twice (in 2008 and 2009) he became the team's top scorer.

On July 19, 2010, in a Russian Premier League match against Lokomotiv Moscow, Guilherme suffered a severe leg injury (broken in two places) for the second time in a year in a clash with a Brazilian goalkeeper. The recovery period took more than a year. On may 13, 2011, Alania head coach Vladimir Gazzaev stated that it would be difficult for dad to join the team after a long break, and he would most likely leave the team. On may 23, the striker was put on transfer by Alania. Dadu did not hide his bewilderment at this decision of the club's management, at the same time considering the years spent in Vladikavkaz the best in his career.

According to Dadu himself, "I Really expected to finish my career in Vladikavkaz, since Alania became my home club, and I consider the years spent here to be the best in my career. I can be blamed for the fact that I have rarely scored recently, but I have always played with complete dedication. For all the time of the performance in "Alania", the main criterion in evaluating the game was and remains the love of the fans. I will never forget their ovations and chants of "Dadu, forget it". Therefore, I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart and wish them new great victories for Alania!»

Fans of the Vladikavkaz team wrote an open letter to the club's President Valery Gazzaev, asking him to "leave the fans their mascot". The letter was answered, which clearly stated that Dadu would still leave the team, despite all his services to it.

On may 30, during a home match against Khimki, Alania fans hung a banner with the words: "Dadu, thank you for everything!!!".

In August 2012, Dadu returned to Sheriff. In September 2012, in a game of the national division of Moldova against Nistru, he entered the field as a goalkeeper, replacing Alexander Zvyagintsev in the 62nd minute, and in 2013 he finished his career without recovering from a previously serious leg injury (double fracture). Dadu is currently a football agent.
